This policy describes how The Green Anchor, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company doing business as Side Hustle Labs (“SHL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information through https://sidehustlelabs.blog, its WordPress and WooCommerce store, customer accounts, and support communications. SHL operates from Florida.

This policy reflects the services actually running on the site as of the effective date above: WordPress, WooCommerce, WooPayments, the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway, and Formspree. It does not describe technologies that are not in use. WordPress notes that its generated privacy text may not detect data collected through analytics, newsletters, affiliate partners, or embedded media, so this policy was written and checked against the site’s actual configuration rather than generated automatically.[6]
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- account details, such as name, username, email, and password-related account records;
- order details, such as products purchased, price, currency, order status, billing address, and tax information;
- payment and transaction information handled through Stripe and WooPayments;
- messages and other information you submit through an on-site form, processed by Formspree;
- device and network data, such as IP address, browser, operating system, referring URL, timestamps, and security logs;
- the strictly necessary and functional cookie identifiers described in the Cookie Policy;
- affiliate-link referral information, where the destination site reads a referral code included in the link itself.
Stripe states that transaction data may include name, email, contact details, billing or shipping address, payment-method information, merchant details, purchase amount, date, and payment status.[4]
This site does not run Google Analytics, Google tags, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, or a cookie-consent platform, and it does not use Plaid. If that changes, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, put a consent mechanism in place before the new technology loads.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide accounts, checkout, payment, fraud prevention, order records, and digital delivery;
- send order confirmations, receipts, download links, password-reset messages, and other operational messages needed to complete a request;
- respond to messages submitted through Formspree, and to other support or privacy requests;
- secure, debug, and maintain the site;
- meet tax, accounting, recordkeeping, and legal obligations;
- create and publish aggregate or de-identified case studies about site traffic, campaigns, and usage on this site and
thegreenanchor.com.
SHL does not currently operate a marketing-email or newsletter program. If we start one, we will collect a clear opt-in first, and this policy will be updated to name the service we use and describe how to unsubscribe.
Case studies will not include a person’s name, email, order details, form content, precise identifier, or other information that can reasonably identify them, unless that person separately agrees to the specific use. Aggregate or de-identified results may include traffic totals, conversion rates, referral sources, campaign trends, and product-usage patterns.
Legal bases for EEA and UK users
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the expected legal bases include performance of a contract for orders, legal obligations for tax records, and legitimate interests for proportionate security and site operation. Based on the technologies currently in use, described in the Cookie Policy, consent is not the legal basis for any cookie on this site, because each one is strictly necessary or functional. Consent would become relevant if SHL later adds analytics, advertising, or marketing technology that is not strictly necessary.
The GDPR applies across the European Economic Area and governs processing of personal data.[8]
How we share information
We may share information with service providers only as needed for their services, including:
- Hostinger, for hosting and infrastructure;
- WordPress and WooCommerce components used to operate the site and store;
- Stripe and WooPayments, along with the banks and card networks involved in processing a payment;
- Wordfence, for firewall and security monitoring, which may process visitor IP addresses and request data to detect and block malicious activity;
- LiteSpeed Cache, for page caching and performance, running at the server level;
- Formspree, for delivering the content of on-site form submissions to us;
- professional advisers and authorities when required by law.
Stripe explains that its role can vary between controller, processor, and service provider depending on the activity.[4] Formspree’s privacy policy describes how it handles submitted form data.[17]
This site does not load advertising or analytics trackers, such as Google Analytics, Google tags, or Meta Pixel, and it does not send visitor data to an advertising network. If that changes, we will update this policy and add any opt-out methods and links that applicable law requires before the new technology goes live.
Cookies and similar technologies
See the separate Cookie Policy for the full list. In short, this site uses only strictly necessary cookies, such as WooCommerce’s cart and session cookies and Stripe’s fraud-prevention cookies, and functional cookies, such as WordPress’s account-preference and comment-convenience cookies. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Retention
We retain information only for the period needed for the purposes described here, including order fulfillment, support, security, tax, accounting, dispute, and legal requirements.

The IRS states that recordkeeping periods depend on the event and applicable limitation period, with common federal income-tax periods ranging from 3 to 7 years and longer in specific cases.[15] SHL uses 7 years as a conservative operational period for order and tax-supporting records, subject to professional review.
Your choices and rights
Depending on location and applicable law, a person may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. California law may also provide rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and avoid discrimination when the law applies to the business.[7]
Submit requests to info@sidehustlelabs.blog. We may verify identity before acting. WordPress provides export and erasure tools, but its documentation warns that third-party systems may require separate action.[6]
Payment information
Card and other supported payment details are entered directly into checkout fields provided by Stripe and WooPayments, the payment processors active on this site. SHL does not store full payment-card numbers on its own servers.
Children
The site and store are intended for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact info@sidehustlelabs.blog if you believe a child submitted information.
International transfers
Providers may process information outside the visitor’s state or country. SHL reviews each provider’s data-processing terms and transfer safeguards when the provider is added and whenever a provider changes.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, including Wordfence for security monitoring. No system is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy when services, practices, or legal requirements change. We will change the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
